Deauville

Deauville has a quite enormous airfield which is said by one of our group who is in to equestrian things to be this size to enable the transporters to land which bring race horses to Longchamps which is near Deauville.

This is a large airfield with all the controls you would expect.

Having booked in you find your way out past the reception desk.

The latch to the reception desk door is operated from a toggle hidden down beside the door, so now you can find your way back to aircraft without having to climb over the the desk.

Flight plans are filed on the peculiar but effective French computer system.

Lunch in Honfleur is recommended but the taxi fares are expensive.
